The resin shower tray is made from cast resin. Acrystone® resin guarantees a long-lasting matt finish that resists wear and tear over time. Acrystone® resin is extremely versatile. It adapts to a large number of solutions, with a contemporary design. It is light and resistant, with an anti-bacterial gel-coat surface that prevents the presence of micro-organisms.
All products made with Acrystone® (shower trays, panels and bathroom vanity tops) use resin with 25% post-consumer recycled PET bottles. Each shower tray recycles approximately 100 x 1.5 litre bottles of recycled PET (11,250,000 PET bottles recycled per year).
The raw materials used are natural. 75% of the composition of Acrystone® shower trays and vanity tops is high-quality, high-purity dolomite.
Thanks to research and the development of advanced technologies, Acrystone® is an exceptional material that surpasses traditional materials. It is resistant, noble and in harmony with our environment.
The manufacturing processes used are energy-efficient. The chemical polymerisation reaction between the resin and the mineral requires no energy input. The reaction is called exothermic.
The minimum energy required comes from sustainable sources, such as wood pellets, avoiding the need to use fossil fuels at any time.
All the electrical energy consumed in the manufacturing process has come from 100% renewable energy sources since 2018.
